Project Details
Several municipalities were being negatively impacted when Highway 522 was reduced from a four-lane divided highway to a two-lane undivided highway for three miles between Maltby and Monroe, Washington. These cities came together and contracted with Digital Face Media to tell the story of how negatively the community was impacted by this stretch of road. We focused the message of our campaign on quality of life, public safety, environmental and economic impacts. A total of five videos were created and promoted to both local constituents and legislative leadership. The result was full legislative funding of the expansion project with a new fly-over overpass in Maltby to remove the last remaining traffic light on the entire highway.
