1. Information We Collect
Information You Give Us
When you fill out a contact form, request a quote, or download our Conference Opener Playbook, you provide us with information like your name, email address, phone number, company name, and a description of your project or needs. We only use what you give us.
Automatically Collected Information
Like most websites, ours automatically collects certain technical data when you visit, including:
- IP address and general location
- Browser type and device information
- Pages visited, time spent on each page, and referring URLs
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see the Cookies section below)
Client-Provided Third-Party Information
When we work with a client on a production project, the client may share contact information for crew members, talent, or other individuals involved in the project. We treat this information with care and use it only to coordinate and deliver the contracted services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and quote requests
- Send you the Conference Opener Playbook when you request it
- Deliver our services to clients who have engaged us for a production
- Send marketing or informational emails to subscribers who have opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time
- Improve our website by understanding how visitors use it
- Comply with legal obligations when required
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Cookies and Analytics
Essential Cookies
Our site may use essential cookies that are necessary for basic functionality (such as remembering your session). These cannot be turned off without breaking parts of the site.
Analytics Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site — things like which pages are most popular and how long people stay. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this data. The information is aggregated and not personally identifiable to us.
If you’d prefer not to be tracked by Google Analytics, you can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Note that doing so may affect how some parts of our site function.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. Period.
We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers and contractors: We work with vendors and freelancers who help us deliver productions and run our business (e.g., cloud storage, email platforms). They access information only as needed to do their job, and they’re required to keep it confidential.
- Legal requirements: If we’re required by law, court order, or government authority to disclose information, we will comply. We’ll notify you if permitted to do so.
- Business transfers: If RAND Meridian, LLC is acquired, merged, or substantially reorganized, your information may be part of that transition. We would notify you of any material change in how your data is handled.
5. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as it’s needed to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected — for example, active client records are retained for the duration of our business relationship and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal and accounting obligations. Lead inquiries that don’t result in a project may be retained for up to 24 months. You can request deletion at any time (see Your Rights below).
6. Your Rights
Regardless of where you live, you can contact us to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information (subject to any legal retention requirements)
- Opt out of marketing emails (use the unsubscribe link in any email we send you)
California Residents (CCPA)
If you’re a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights. We do not sell personal information, so there is no “opt out of sale” required — but you’re welcome to ask.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We’ll respond within 30 days.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. That said, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We can’t guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously and will notify you if a breach affects your personal data, as required by applicable law.
9. International Users
Digital Face Media is based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the US. If you’re visiting from outside the US, please be aware that US privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using our site and submitting information to us, you consent to this transfer.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the effective date at the top of this page.
